Decker,
I fear this letter to you might seem generic. It isn’t. This isn’t hallow advice. This isn’t a soft pat on the back after you lose the game. This is one of the truest things I know. It separates those who can and do achieve what they want with those who don’t.
You can do it.
If they can do it, you can do it. They put their pants on one leg at a time. Even if they are a girl wearing a skirt, it’s still one leg at a time. None of “them” are any better or worse than you. We’re all alike. You can do it.
If you want something bad enough, it can happen for you.
You may have to give up other things you want in order to get it. Maybe a lot of other things. But I assure you. You can have it.
Good luck to you my man. I love you more than words can express.
Dad
