Business Idea #106 – Referral Clearinghouse for Lawyers

The Problem:

Lawyer to lawyer referral relationships are done on an ad hoc basis.  Referral fees are now a part of nearly every referred case, at least in the injury area.  Lawyers need a way to track these referrals and they need a way to find new referral relationships, either on the giving or receiving end.

The Business

An online referral clearinghouse for lawyers.

The site tracks referrals, referral percentages, and case status.  It also introduces new referral relationships.

Doableness

Very doable.  Building scale is the question mark.  In the beginning, you will need to manually build the relationships to make sure both sides are happy.
