Biz Idea #72 – Google SERP Simulator

by Byron on April 12, 2012

The Problem:

I need an easy way to give myself, and others, a visual representation of what I’d like a Google search results (SERP’s) to look like.

The Business

A Google SERP (search engine results page) simulator.  You can either make up the entire page or make up a part of the page a couple it with real results.  Either way, an image is created that looks like a search engine results page.  It just contains what you want.

If I say I’m going to obtain the second result for this term, I want to see what that looks like.

Doableness

This is simple.  Flat out.  Easy.

My Thoughts

This tool probably doesn’t make money, but it will bring traffic and attention.

You could build it then sell it to SEO companies for their websites.  Not much sells like a visual representation of success.

It could, in fact, be as simple for the end user as entering their site and the term they want to rank for.  Then the SEO company says, “Now let us help you get there.”  Boom.  Sick.  Sold.
