Google missed their earnings number yesterday (by a tiny smidgen). One of the major reasons – increased capital spending on projects that can make them money in the future. Mainly servers, storage, the cloud, etc. Personally, this makes me excited about google’s long term prospects.
But it also begs the short term question: where’d they spend all that money? We’re not talking about a small sum. Emc? Vm? Hp?
